Amanda is an experienced sales and marketing professional with a background in both the private and not-for-profit sectors working in the UK and internationally for 25 years. Her roles have included at Flemings Investment Bank and Deputy CEO for Army Families Federation worldwide. At Business in the Community she worked with FTSE CEOs at companies including Walkers, Samworth Brothers, Next and Caterpillar before moving to the Prince’s Trust and working with Leicester Tigers and Leicester City Football Club.
Amanda offers a rare mix of creativity and vision to enable businesses to maximise their competitive edge.
Amanda established Seer International in 2016 and leads on growth strategy to drive Seer International forward in support of businesses striving to grow.
David is a sales and business development professional who has worked for blue chip companies including BAE Systems, Babcock International Group and IFS, as well as smaller, new joint ventures. His sales and business development experience extends as far east as Siberia and south to Pakistan. He also acts a consultant to several investment funds.
David is a chartered engineer and served in the British Army until 2000. He has lived, worked and operated in central and eastern Europe and across the Middle East.
David established Seer International with Amanda to create new opportunities for companies wherever they wish to operate.
Ian has been working in the Middle East for over 20 years, the last 10 of which he has been based out of Dubai. His most recent roles were for Wynyard and SAS Public Security where he led the sales effort of advanced analytics and big data platforms into Middle East defence, intelligence and law enforcement organisations.
Prior to joining SAS in 2012, he worked for IFS, a Swedish ERP vendor and IFS Defence, a joint venture between IFS and BAE Systems; primarily selling ERP applications into the defence, security, telco and oil and gas markets in the region. Before moving into sales roles, he held several pre-sales and delivery positions with IFS Defence and Indus International, working extensively with the UK and Middle East military, law enforcement and intelligence agencies. Ian also has extensive experience of working in North Africa and South Asia.
Abdul Aziz Al Hinai moved to London with his father, a diplomat, when he was a young child and was educated in Britain. Graduating from Oxford Brookes with a degree in Geology, and sponsored by Petroleum Development Oman (PDO), Abdul Aziz moved across to a career in banking with the Oman International Bank. Travel and a move to Australia led ultimately to a role as CEO of a vehicle company, which he founded.
Since then, Abdul Aziz has completed a Master’s Degree, again in the UK, advised and worked with senior ministers in the UAE, in Ajman and Dubai, and, latterly, advising on In Country Value (ICV), investment, environmental issues, SME policy, social development and CSR for the Special Economic Zone Authority in Duqm and beyond.
Liz Brown has many years’ experience as CEO and senior director in the health and social care, defence and criminal justice sectors. She has led national and regional organisations through turnaround and transformation with particular focus on CRM for future growth.
Liz brings a wealth of experience of stakeholder engagement at the highest levels in government through campaigning and advocacy. She has formed high-value partnerships to £2m and delivered a national, award-winning £5m capital project. A strategic thinker who delivers high impact quickly with integrity and vision, Liz enables organisations to find a path through complexity and ambiguity and commit to action.
An experienced senior leader, Eric works globally with multi-national clients selling and implementing leading supply chain visibility software and hardware solutions. He is a recognised SME in logistics and especially in electronic cargo tracking as well as RFID-based consignment tracking for both the commercial and defence markets. After 18 years as a logistics officer in the UK Armed Forces, Eric joined a US Silicon Valley technology company, rising to become the Vice President responsible for all international business. Eric’s strengths include leading, motivating and managing multi-discipline teams and his field experience is reinforced by his academic qualifications; a MSc from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology in Operations Management and a certified diploma in accountancy and finance from the UK’s Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
Piotr is a dynamic leader with over 30 years’ experience in information technology and other industries. He has broad business development, sales and service delivery experience in complex, diverse and international environments.
At EDS, Piotr managed projects and teams delivering services to customers in automotive, financial and retail sectors in the UK and Europe as well as managing the company’s subsidiary in Poland. For the leading global ERP vendor, IFS, he managed operations in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) growing the business through acquisition and partnering. Since then, Piotr has been involved in a wide variety of consulting engagements working with both public and private companies throughout Europe.
Steve has more than 30 years’ experience in the defence and aerospace industry, leading successful sales campaigns across a range of products in the maritime, land and air sectors. Apart from winning business worth more than US$3 billion for one of the world’s largest defence, aerospace and security companies, Steve has established and executed successfully many major offset programs. Based in Europe, Steve maintains an extensive industrial and political network of friends and colleagues.
A senior executive with strong experience of delivering results in a highly competitive B2B financial services environment. Alison has held executive board roles since 1998 and has managed companies through business as usual and significant change programmes.
Alison has a depth of experience in leading teams, designing and implementing new products, developing new markets. Alison has managed operational restructures and led the integration of an acquisition. Alison was part of a successful board (1998-2015) which developed ABN AMRO Commercial Finance PLC into a leading asset-based lender. With strong financial skills, sound commercial acumen and 25 years supporting business in UK and Europe, Alison has a strong awareness of what works in business.
A graduate in Economics and Econometrics from Leeds University, Alison holds a Masters Diploma in Strategy and Innovation from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford where she also completed an Executive MBA to gain current thinking.
Martin brings broad experience and versatility as a project leader and specialist consultant in explosives safety, security, logistics and defence acquisition. Following 25 years as a logistics officer in the British Army he has established a successful consultancy business, working with private sector companies, the public sector and major international organisations, including branches of the United Nations and NATO.
Martin enjoys meeting new challenges and applying a range of business, project management and technical skills, experience and education to cut through complexity and develop effective comprehensive solutions. He holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Strathclyde and an MSc in Explosives Ordnance Engineering from Cranfield University; he is a Member of the Institute of Explosives Engineers, of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport and of the Royal United Services Institute.
Mark had a full career in the British Army before specialising in strategic communications and crisis management.
Mark is now a freelance crisis management and strategic communications consultant. He advises and consults for clients in the defence, security and commercial sectors. His current engagement comprises the delivery of a strategic communications project on behalf of the UK government in Bosnia and Herzegovina. He is also working as a consultant to the UK Foreign & Commonwealth Office. Mark is a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (MCIPR) as an Accredited Practitioner (AP)
Jennifer is a Lawyer with more than nine years post qualification experience. Since graduating from the University of Lancaster and completing her professional examinations, Jennifer has established a strong reputation for her litigation work and has regularly appeared at the county courts in different fields of law.
Jennifer has a demonstrated and proven track record in complex legal matters and is versatile and personable. Her negotiation and drafting skills are well known, as are her management and mentoring skills.
